1934 Mercedes Benz 500K

The Mercedes 500K (type 29) is a grand touring car built by Mercedes Benz between 1934 and 1936.

Mercedes Benz gave this 500K Cabriolet A to its Grand Prix team driver Manfred Vonn Brauchitsch as his personal car.

Pressing the throttle fully engaged the Roots supercharger, inducing the Five Litre straight-eight engine to produce up to 160 hp and making the car capable of over 100 mph.

There were only 33 of this variant produced in 1934.

You may purchase a print in our dElegance 2018 online gallery.
