The 1968 W2SS used a combined speedometer/tach unit with a chrome/painted tank. Bikes were available in blue, red and black. These bikes competed with Triumph and BSA for market share but were never a big seller.
Kawasaki sold the W1/W2 bikes in the USA from 1966-1969 and they continued to sell them in other countries until about 1975. The last few years it was called the W3 and had a left hand shift and right hand brake.
